Game idea

We have a decision to make following a tutorial the first idea of chasing/finding the princess has been said to be Zelda like and from reading the second branch i like this probably the best though is my opnion.. We can interporate our own and other ideas in the game.

- We can start of as the head looking for the seven soldiers and when we find the first we then play as the soldier.

- The head is vunerable rolling away if put down to solve a puzzle and also acts as the eyes for perhaps the top perspective etc, also acts as a guide to the path and puzzle..

- Can be multiplayer and say for example u come across a ditch with spike and the only way to get across is to jump but you can jump whilst holding the head so one player jumps over, the next throws the head to the player just jumped over and then that player jumps over the ditch (HAPPY DAYS lol)

- Can collect potions or something etc with a fuel bar for super-weapons/summons or whatever that the kings head can produce.

  1. not sure on the potions/fuel/summons thing but the idea is definitely something we can work on.

    I can also see the game being slightly more physics based now. Having the head roll and bounce of things.etc

  2. I just wrote down whatever was in my head lol i like the idea where the head has something to offer like for example - the main character can hit with his weapon etc and when there are a few enemies so the head can produce some sort of critical attack on them.

    The sort of story behind that i like would be the poison in him (which is why his head was cut off) has made it so he can have this attribute.

  3. I understanding the creative flare here, and it is good to explore new concepts. However, head rolling alone mechanics + multiplayer + items + ??? + ??? = HELP!!! lol =)

    We should pin down the main mechanic first then add the rest no?

    Even so a more physic based game might be the way to go... I was thinking more of a flowing thing but its a choice.

  4. The head need not roll or do anything at all when put down, it could just not move untill you or something else picks it up. i certainly like the idea of having to carry it with you everywhere or passing it between players and not being able to do certain things while you are carying it.
